Enjoy a hiking adventure on our five trails in Glen Maury Park, or stroll on our beautiful, level, 2.5 mile Maury River Walk that extends through the City, or make an adventure by exploring our over 300-acre park. All of our trails are considered easy to moderate.
Buena Vista is also home to numerous walking trails and mountain paths through the National Forest. Many visitor enjoy the Chessie Trail, that follows the Maury River between Buena Vista and Lexington. The Appalachian Trail Hikers are always welcome in Buena Vista.
