UPDATE 11/29/22 – Due to the November rain, crews are approximately a week and a half behind the original leaf collection schedule (below).

Leaf collection in Buena Vista will begin on November 7, 2022. Leaves should be placed adjacent to the curb or pavement prior to 7 am on Monday of the scheduled week. This schedule is tentative and subject to change due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

When raking loose leaves to the curb, please be careful not to include rocks, walnuts or large pieces of wood as this can cause equipment damage, injury and delays to the schedule. Leaf piles should not block streets, alleys, or sidewalks due to safety hazards. Leaves placed in alleys will not be collected unless they are bagged.

Public Works will make a final collection will be made throughout the entire city following the completion of the above schedule.
