LEXINGTON, Va. (March 31, 2025) – The Rockbridge Regional Tourism Board offers sponsorships for tourism events occurring in Lexington, Buena Vista, and Rockbridge County on a biannual basis. Sponsorship application submission is open as of April 1 for events occurring between July 1 and December 31, 2025.

Sponsorship applicants must be organizing an event located within Lexington, Buena Vista, or Rockbridge County, Virginia. Requests should not exceed $3,000 per event. When awarding sponsorships, members of the Rockbridge Regional Tourism Board will consider the strength of the application, including the likelihood of attracting out-of-town visitors as well as alignment with regional tourism goals and objectives. A total of $10,750 is earmarked for distribution, though total disbursement is not guaranteed.

The window for completing an application is April 1 through April 30, 2025. Awards will be announced Monday, May 26, 2025 and funds will be distributed by June 15, 2025.
