What is Connect BV?
Connect BV is a movement to form a vision, step past our fears, and revitalize Buena Vista
Connect BV is funded by the Department of Housing and Community Development's (DHCD) Community Development Block Grant (GBDG). The Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program provides funding on an annual basis for local projects that address a variety of housing, public service, and community development needs. Buena Vista was awarded CBDG funds totaling $45,000. Of these funds, $30,000 was awarded for business district revitalization planning and $15,000 was awarded for Opportunity Zone marketing.
Connect BV is managed by a 12 person management team comprised of city staff, community leaders, local stakeholders, and citizens.
