🚨Watch out for scams!🚨

It has been brought to our attention that there is a link going around that claims to be a link to pay your water bill online using the “bvcity.org” url. This link will take you to a page that immediately asks for your credit card information.

Please be advised, this is a scam! Water bills and other city bills cannot be paid online at this time.

All official city communications will come through the “City of Buena Vista – Government” social media pages or our website at www.buenavistava.org. If you are uncertain whether a site can be trusted, please contact us on our official social media accounts or through the website contact form.

We have not yet seen this scam ourselves, but when we do we will share screenshots so you know what to look out for.

If you have clicked the link and your information has been made available to scammers, please contact your bank or credit card company immediately.
